ABOUT YOUR SYMBOLIC WEDDING CEREMONY
Is a symbolic wedding ceremony legally binding?
No. A symbolic ceremony has no legal or civil status. It is centred entirely on celebrating your commitment in a personal and meaningful way, without legal or religious requirements. If you wish to be legally married, the civil formalities are completed separately.
How is our ceremony script created?
Every ceremony script is original and written from scratch. The process begins with an in-depth conversation about your story, your values and what you want the ceremony to express. We then develop the narrative and work with you on the details and any adjustments before the final script is completed.
Which languages can our ceremony be conducted in?
We conduct ceremonies in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, German and Catalan. We also create bilingual and multilingual ceremonies, carefully integrating each language so that family members and guests can follow and feel part of the celebration.
Can we include symbolic elements or involve our guests?
Yes. Symbolic elements can be included when they have genuine meaning for you, and family members or friends can take part through readings, personal words, music or other contributions. Everything is carefully integrated into the ceremony so that it feels natural and true to your story.
How far in advance should we book our ceremony?
As each ceremony involves approximately 20 to 30 hours of preparation and we accept a limited number of ceremonies on each date, we recommend contacting us 6 to 12 months in advance, particularly for weddings taking place between May and October.
