Mentoring: From Writing to Delivery
Being asked to conduct the wedding ceremony of friends or family is a deeply meaningful gesture of trust. Yet standing before them as they make their commitment requires more than affection and good intentions: it also requires the confidence to hold that space with calm, clarity and respect.
From Writing to Delivery is an intensive individual mentoring session designed to help you prepare both the ceremony and the way you will conduct it, giving you the structure, practical guidance and confidence to make the occasion personal, meaningful and well prepared.
Ceremony Structure & Script Writing
Structuring the ceremony, selecting stories and memories, choosing meaningful symbolic elements and developing a natural, personal script that avoids clichés.
Voice, Breathing & Emotion
Practical guidance on voice, diction, pace and pauses, together with techniques for managing emotion while maintaining confidence and continuity throughout the ceremony.
Presence & Ceremony Delivery
Practical preparation for using a microphone and reading stand, positioning yourself in relation to the couple and their guests, and handling unexpected moments calmly on the day.
How Does the Mentoring Session Work?
A personalised individual working session, available online via Zoom or in person in Lisbon, including direct review and refinement of the ceremony script you will be delivering.
